Certified Class: WiMAX Network Designer - WiMAX Forum Certified

Target Audience
This class is essential for managers and engineers that work with WiMAX and would like to obtain a certification from the WiMAX Forum.

Pre-Requisite
Wireless Communications Overview or equivalent knowledge.

Goals
This class aims to prepare students to be able to design realistic WiMAX networks considering all the main items involved in the process. Students are presented to not only the technology itself but also with the added complexity of designing a data-centric network. Free 30 -day demo license of CelPlanner Suite included with this class.

Course Syllabus

This class is a combination of three modules

• Wireless Communications Fundamentals
  
• Technology: WiMAX Systems
  
• The Fifty Steps of Network Design
• Optional Introduction to CelPlanner Suite Hands-on (complimentary, extra half-day)

Certification Process
At the end of the third day, students are given instructions on how to complete their WiMAX Forum Network Designer Certification Boot Camp™ certification exam. This exam tests technology concepts and practical design skills covered during this class.

Students that pass the certification process are given a Certificate and the WiMAX Forum logo for Certified WiMAX Network Designers. The logo can be used in the students’ e-mail signatures and business cards.
