DISTRIBUTECH 2026 | February 2–5, 2026 | San Diego, California
CelPlan Technologies participated in DISTRIBUTECH 2026, where utility leaders and technology providers gathered to discuss the systems that will support a more connected and data-driven electric grid.
Our Chief Commercial Officer, Cristine Korowajczuk, contributed to two educational sessions. The Grid University course, “Private LTE for Utilities: From Strategy to Field Operations,” provided a practical roadmap for utilities evaluating, designing and operating private LTE networks. The discussion connected early business and spectrum decisions with the realities of integration, testing and long-term operations.
Cristine also participated in “Smart Cities in Action: How Municipal Utilities Are Building Technology-Driven Communities.” The session examined how municipal utilities can combine private networks, commercial services and edge technologies to support community applications.
DISTRIBUTECH provided another valuable opportunity to exchange lessons with utilities at different stages of their modernization programs. These conversations continue to reinforce the importance of designing communications infrastructure around operational requirements rather than selecting technology in isolation.
